Guardian Program
Our Guardian Program allows select families to welcome one of our future breeding dogs into their home as a beloved family pet while remaining part of the Doodlebear breeding program.
Guardian homes give our dogs the opportunity to grow up in a loving family environment while still contributing to our carefully planned breeding program. This allows each dog to receive the individual attention, training, and socialization that comes with living as a family companion.
How the Guardian Program Works
Approved guardian families receive one of our female puppies to raise as their own family pet.
The dog lives full-time with the guardian family and becomes part of their household. During her time in the breeding program, she will return to us for health testing, breeding, and whelping.
Our females typically have two litters as part of the program. Once she has completed her breeding career, she is retired and full ownership is transferred to the guardian family.
At this time, we only place female puppies in guardian homes.
